Loved their very crispy fried chicken! The spring onion seasoning I wasn’t a fan of; it was literally chopped up spring onion with this sour sauce, but the carbonara was deliciously creamy and unexpectedly worked well with the fried chicken. The fried rice cake was really good too and quite different.
I had the pleasure of trying the ABC Chicken and sausages recently, and I must say, they were absolutely delicious! The ABC Chicken was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It had a delightful blend of spices that added an extra kick to every bite. As for the sausages, they were juicy, savory, and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a delightful combination of herbs and seasonings that left me wanting more. Overall, I highly recommend both the ABC Chicken and sausages for a mouthwatering and satisfying culinary experience.
Crispy hot chicken was good, but it needed more of the seasoning, and the coleslaw side tasted very odd. The ABC sauce is horrrible, we tasted it and then didn't touch it again. Fries with dips have promise, ours were overcooked, though. Downstairs feels cramped, and why is the door sized window open? Random people are just coming in and pushing past seated guests. Sit upstairs if possible. Oh, and they need to serve somaek properly - small glasses and proper soju shot glasses, not those old, odd plastic things.
Am considering returning to try more chicken, different sauce, and during happy hour for the drinks specials.

Expect to find delicious Korean fried chicken dished up in an easy-going hangout at ABC Chicken on Queen Street in the heart of Melbourne city. 🍗
We looooved everything that we ordered especially the carbonara chicken with truffle, abc chicken, crispy fried chicken and rose tteokbokki 🫶🏻✨
One of the OG Korean fried chicken places that I’ve been going to over the last 7-8 years, the carbonara chicken is one of their best menu items and biggest attractions in my opinion. Always a good mainstay place that has decent seating areas and friendly staff.
You are kidding me. This is the first time i’ve ever left reviews in my entire existence, i hope someone, anyone, can see this review. Ordered a soju here. The shot glasses were hand down the dirtiest glass u can find in all of Melbourne restaurant. Super disgusting i almost puke on the table. Didnt wanna make a big deal out of this so we told the lady at the counter (i assume the manager?) nicely and she had no reaction no emotion no response not even an apology whatsoever and tried to grab us another shot glasses ?!?! Woman why on earth would we want to drink any liquid from any glass in your restaurant again? Its outrageous she cant even be arsed pretend to feel bad for us or say sorry, i would give minus point for customer service if i could. Shout out to the waiter tho he was very nice and polite and suggested good food when i asked for recommendation. The food was not that bad. If you’re looking for hygienic place nah don’t bother, if you don’t mind shot glasses that prolly picked up from the bin in a haunted house 10 years ago then yea go for it. Just read some 1* reviews and they had the same experience, turned out not only the lady at the counter’s attitude was garbage but the owner response was garbage too, good luck fighting and leaving sarcastic responses to the people who b paying you to the day you close your restaurant. Eww.

Pretty delicious Korean fried chicken is served here in a variety of flavours at great prices! If you've an EatClub offer, it's even better!

The Soy Garlic Chicken (boneless, half plate 250 g, $19) with a bowl of rice ($3) made for a delicious dish. Although, on receiving my food, I felt that the rice wasn't necessary because the chicken was in really good quantity and had fries and bit of salad on the side.
The chicken was very well made. It was mixed well with the soy garlic sauce, but wasn't drenched in it, which was good. Soft, succulent and balanced in flavour the chicjen was quite good. The garlic wasn't overpowering at all, and the sauce made eating the rice easier.
The potato fries looked cute and tasted even better. Had I known about it, I wouldn't have ordered the plain rice with a few seeds of nigella sprinkled over the top.
I had the signature ABC Chicken yesterday that came with a mix of bones and boneless pieces. Delicious!
The boneless chicken with the hot sauce is funger-licking good!

Tha place could do with a little bit of cleaning an visual lift up. The cafe looked cool, but the water glass, jug looked worse for wear. The staff, although friendly, feel a bit aloof sometimes.
🛍😋
A good enough place to visit to address your fried chicken cravings on Queen Street. Also, using the EatClub app gave me a hefty 30% off on dining in!
Good, soft chicken with some complimentary sides. Portions are pretty big too.
We ordered a whole chicken in carbonara and some rice, which sufficed for 4. …
